Caribbea Bay Resort Kariba

Caribbea Bay Resort operates in Kariba town on the shore of the inland sea of Lake Kariba. It offers clients mid-range accommodation, resorts and hotels. The Caribbea Bay Resort offers excellent services to its visitors. The accommodation varies in size, with 41 Casita (family) rooms; 2 Casita Suites; 2 Executive Suites; 2 Deluxe Suites; 10 King leisure rooms; 8 Standard (double) rooms; 7 twin rooms; and 11 Twist rooms (single beds). All rooms have digital satellite television. The grounds of the Resort can accommodate up to 70 guests with 35 terrace camping spaces, BBQ facilities (charcoal and wood available for a small fee), self-service laundry facilities and communal restrooms. Optional services include serviced tents (fully equipped), netted tents or unserviced camping. The Resort's restaurant and bar facilities are also available to all campers. The resort is child-friendly and are baby-sitting facilities, a children’s' playground and a pool. The Caribbae Bay resort has three conference rooms which can cater for conferences of up to 340 representatives, with presentation facilities that include a PA system, projector, screen, pointer and podium. Caribbea operates 15km away from the local airport, and 3km away from the Kariba dam wall which borders Zimbabwe and Zambia. Normally its 4 hours to drive from the capital city Harare, through the scenic Kariba Recreational Park. Caribbea Bay Resort offers activities such as Sunset Cruises, Game drives, Guided walks, Kariba highlights tours, Cruise dinners; Bush dinners, Canoe safaris, Fishing and Houseboat hire, Watersports, Weddings, Conferences as well as day trips across the lake.
